UC3 Studios was created as an homage to our family and heritage. The first "Unique Creations" was a ceramics store owned by my grandmother, and my mother owned the second.
It is a fun way to include them as well as a 'three' as it relates to 3d printing.
We operate out of Northern California, but do not have a brick and mortar store.
Our partners do offer our products at a few local stores in San Francisco and Petaluma.
Design Time: First, a digital blueprint is created using computer aided design software.
Material Magic: Instead of paper and ink, 3D printers use cool materials like plastic, metal, or even chocolate.
Layer by Layer: The printer starts at the bottom and works its way up, laying down one ultra-thin layer at a time. It's like building a cake, layer by layer, but with tech.
Solid Shapes: As each layer is added, the material hardens and takes shape, turning the digital dream into a real-life thing you can touch and hold.
Voila!: In the end, the tech can make a unique, custom-made product. How cool is that?
